Team Vanity’s very own PS3 Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 squad was today given the Honourable and well deserved Seeding of 6th place in Europe by the playstation’s very own online community EuEsports.

The Ps3 Squad has battled hard fighting from the low ranks into top 10 but where determined to push harder, then in April reaching 9th place narrowly missing the top 8 possition! Finaly in May, Team Vanity have managed to place in the top 8 seedings reaching 6th place!

Vanity MW2.PS3 member leighh1 had this to say:

“EuEsports.com is the PS3 equivalent of Decerto, and is essentially the main hub for competitive PS3 gaming. It’s on this site that the top PS3 teams and players compete, so to gain top 6 in their May rankings is a great achievement.

We’ve progressed immensely over the last few months, managing to take the top seeded teams right down to the wire. We recently lost to H2K, the number 1 seeded team, 2-1 in the Semi final of the Logitech Tournament on CG, taking them to the last map and round. We’ve also claimed wins over teams such as 4D, beating them 3-0 in maps.

I’m pleased with 6th place, as it’s a massive jump from where we were last month, in around 9th place. And it shows that the leaders of the other top teams feel we deserve our place in the top 8 comfortably.

We’ll now progress and aim for top 3, which we feel is obtainable if we keep up our current form and effort. Hopefully we’ll do well in the EuEsports P2P, and any further tournaments that are to come.”
