FIFA 11 News

With Fifa 11 rapidly approaching it seemed a good idea to write a small article containing the features and some vital information about the best-selling football video game in their 19th title.

The confirmed release date for fifa 11 is 28th September in North America And 1st October for Europe/Asia. It has been confirmed that the fifa 11 demo will be available for download on the 16th of September, 15 days before the European release date.

There has been a lot of information released about features for the upcoming game so I am going to give you all the important information you need.

The first feature is Personality+ this will see footballer’s real life play style mirrored authentically in game, differentiated and replicated for every player’s skill-set. This will reinvent how players perform on and off the ball.

Another main feature is being able to control the goal keeper, enabling fans to experience the thrill of playing as the keeper. Also for the first time in a football videogame allows control of all 22 players. Highly rated Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has been signed as the spokesperson and will feature in marketing campaigns.

Pro passing is another system that will be introduced for fifa 11, this is intended to cut out “Ping-Pong” passing seen on the older versions of fifa. This feature will lead to in-game passing accuracy being determined by  gamer’s ability, player skill and situation. New types of passes such as swerve passes have also been added.

A massive change is the old manager mode being combined with be a pro seasons creating career mode, allowing you to play through footballing seasons as a player, player-manager or a manager and complete 15 seasons. Career mode promises to be much more authentic than in the past with a new engine and many smaller features all combined to make a life like career mode.

And now the smaller features:
• Audio customisation that will allow gamers to import Chants, import their own music and record and share chants.
• Improved Celebrations including group celebrations were players can interact and trademark specific player celebrations by just pressing the A button.
• Creation Centre enabling users to create and then share players and teams via football world.
• Fifa Theatre allowing you to save in-game highlights directly to a console’s hard drive.
