Vanity MW3 Leagues (XBOX 360) Launch!

After the inclusion of Vanity leagues last year as part of the Black Ops era it has now returned and is ready to start again. The leagues provide a balance between less serious one day cups and the very competitive pay to play tournaments. As always variety is the spice of life and this is something different to play with a slightly serious edge in order to practice and learn to tackle the very best teams. Working the way up the leagues will be a test of tactics, intelligence and of course gun skill. All cylinders must be firing to beat the teams in your group to advance.  As all teams have the same aim of reaching the higher leagues they will have to battle along with the rest of the 197 teams which have signed up to season one with each looking to get into the highest division... The release of MW3 has once again sparked off some major competition between top Xbox 360 teams. However instead of them proving their metal in our one day cups and pay to play tournaments they now have another option at their disposal. Vanity is proud to announce the return of Vanity leagues which will be making their second appearance on Call of Duty. Read On

MW3 £600 P2P Tournament (Xbox 360) Launches

Having had a slightly rough start in the competitive scene in recent weeks due to the lack of a ruleset, MW3 is back and more competitive than ever with the addition of the Decerto V2 ruleset. Vanity is proud to announce the start of the MW3 P2P in which 32 teams will compete to become one of the best Xbox 360 has to offer in the early stages of MW3. The tournament victors will not only write their team into MW3 history but also receive a large slice of the prize pot which is over £600 and 4x Evil Sticks kindly donated by Evil Controllers. The tournament format will consist of a group stage followed by a double elimination bracket. Vanity acquires new staff

Following the enormous growth of both the Xbox and PS3 scenes in recent months, Vanity have hired some new staff in order to help support the growing number of competitors. One day cups on the Xbox have started with a bang rising above 100 teams in the last 2 cups so Vanity has recruited some fresh faces. Vanity BO.360 P2P Tournament Review

After a hard and difficult tournament featuring group stage matches and a elimination tournament. The Vanity P2P has finally come to a glory filled end for one team. With the winning team receiving £247.26 it was always going to be a scramble for those top seeds in the groups to get a easier road to the final. Lots of Decertos finest entered to win and notable names included LowLandLions, Skitlite Gaming, FnaticMSI, and Malaman Shank. With lots of team preparing for EGL4 this was the perfect opportunity for teams to prove they are ready for the competition. Team Infected having placed second in their group were given dzs.turtlebeach in the first round and after a swift victory progressed to round 2. Here they were unlucky to lose out to Mount Dooom 3-2 in a great match up which could have gone either way. A team having no such problems... Read On

Vanity Leagues

Vanity is pleased to announce the launch of Vanity Leagues. Vanity Leagues consists of different leagues containing 6 teams each. There are different levels starting from the top with the “Premier League” containing the highest ranked teams and goes down to the bottom level “Beginner’s League” which contains the new/lowest ranked teams. Every team will play each other team in their league once over 2 1/2 weeks (Sunday’s and Wednesday’s) and will score points for both match and round wins. At the end of the season the top 2 teams for each league will be promoted to the above league, whilst the bottom 2 teams will be relegated to the lower league. New teams may sign up at the end of each league, however they will be added to the Beginner’s League. Click here for more details! Read On

ECL2 Review and Photos

ECL’s first event of 2011 has just finished in Blackpool in the United Kingdom. The sunny seaside resort has held host to many famous tournaments before outside of gaming, but this was its first competitive console event featuring gamers from across Europe and even the United States.
